I bought mine from AJ racing as soon as they got an order in last month. It came in a J's box, with a J's Part number, bubble wrapped with J's tape. Are you suggesting that AJ Racing is selling fake valvecovers? Or maybe J's Racing is selling AJ Racing fake ones!?
Ha!

Looks pretty bad. Mine didnt come out that way. You sure its an actual "authentic" J's valvecover? They only offered them for a couple years back in 2001-2003 after that you had to buy the motor to get one as per Ben from AJ Racing... I got mine before that. There are "style" J's valvecovers out there...
Here is an "authentic" picture of one. I am not saying yours isnt real (I cant tell) but just making you aware that they are over $400 used not new plus shipping. I bought it used for $450+shipping back in 2003. BTW all J's Racing valvecovers are bought as used items not new..

Bouford, beautiful as always. Hats off to the Okada projects. I will also be going that route!
But to shine some like on the AJ Racing ordeal. A&J racing were known to get caught selling copies of J's Racing & and Spoon Parts as real Items.
Back in 2008 when i was buying my Spoon Calipers, my friend Tommy (gotuning) was helping me search around for a good used set. A&J Contacted us saying they had a pair available for a price to good to be true. Thankfully we didnt go that route, and i purchased through Opak as I had Spoon Certification, and they allowed me 30% off certain products.
But another person ended up purchasing that set from A&J and baffled that they just didnt look right. Valve Covers were their high replicated item. The subject is not funny as there is a possibility you might of received a real one, or well just a copy.
This was a huge problem with Kseries engine parts. Today, you are able to get a "New" J's Racing Valve cover directly from J's. But I am just giving a heads up on history, as shopping around in the used market... I would be very careful buying spoon or J's. Especially if the seller says they came from A&J. Thats almost a total deal breaker for anyone who does not even want to worry about authenticity.
