Yes sir, got a custom bar made in back to hold/support the harnesses, It works great and I was able to keep everything pretty oem looking so i was really happy.

I am only 5'11 and there is no way i could fit a bar behind me. How the hell do you guys drive on top of your steering wheel? Would aftermarket seats make it more comfortable?

I'm 6'3" and fit in the car just great. Hard Dog bar + Bride Vios III (Low Max) =

Yes, a bucket seat will give back all the seat position you lose with the Hard Dog bar. I have the stock seat on my passenger side and the difference is pretty substantial for someone who needs to max out the seat adjustment (me).
