I was looking at LukyStar's crash pics and I am wondering if a roll bar provides any additional protection in a side impact crash Does anyone know?

It's a shame there's not cage available that's thick (i.e. doesn't have the exposed bolts the cusco does), doesn't restrict seat movement AND has a harness bar.

Suppose i'll have to go custom!
