The quest for "Flushness" using AP2 OEM Wheels!
#711
hi i bought new 25mm spacers with press studs from a member of the forums, i tried installing it on two of my wheels but it seems as i cannot tighten my stock lugs correctly when i put my wheels on the spacer. I feel as the studs on the spacer are too long. i was seeing if i should be running non-stock lugs or what i can do? i figure i can ask for a refund or cut some thread off.
Pics:
here is a pic of the spacer pressed against my stock hub(notice that the spacer stud is much longer than stock oem stud, dont know if its an issue tho)
pic of my lug nut tighten all the way, it breaks right through my lug nut to reach tightening point
any advice would be great
thanks

Thought I'd through my 2 cents in...
I just got my 20f/25r h&r spacers installed. Running Bilstein PSS coilovers at recommended heights. Fenders are rolled, and bracket is relocated.
I haven't had an alignment done yet, but first impressions driving it to the store is that it barely rubs on hard turns and large bumps. I think I'm going to go with a 15/20 setup instead though. I know it wont be as flush, but it should never rub with that setup, which is what I care about more.
So, if anyone wants to trade or buy em, pm me

depending on your tires/size you can still rub with 15/20 setup. I know with my stock size blizzaks on AP2v1 I'm rub free but with my 225 fronts and 255 rear star specs I rub in the rear over bumps and that's with the bolt relocated, flared, trimmed.

Here are goals:
Currently dropped on Espelir springs.
AP2V1 rears w/ 245/40s or 255/40s on all corners, 20mm front spacers and 30mm rear spacers. Hoping I can get way with rolling the fronts and push the liner up. Rears will be rolled and bumper trimmed/relocated.
Guys think I'll have any issues that can't be resolved?

I have 30's in the rear on v2's with 255's dropped on espelirs... You'll need to relocate the tab, max out the trimming, and run a buttload of camber. It barely fits

One of my fenders in the back has bondo for a crash i had about a year ago! Is it safe to drop the car and put 25mm spacers in the back and 20mm in the front with fenders rolled? Tire size 245/40 in the back and 225/45 in the front
