sorry to bring this old thread up but this sounds a bit backwards

"Note you can ONLY use the 25mm spacers if your wheels do ?NOT? have the recessed cutouts or the nuts will hit the wheel"

sounds backwards how? the studs will hit the back of the wheel if you use anything less than 25mm spacers.

^^ Dornon13 meant that if your wheels do NOT have the recessed cutouts, only the 25mm spacers will work. Meaning the 25mm spacer is the only one thick enough to cover the oem studs. If any spacer other then the 25mm is used, it will not cover the OEM studs, and therefor the wheels will NEED the recessed cut outs.

Hah I understand how you meant it now....when you capitalize the "only" it puts emphasis on it and made me read it another way. I understand whats happening I just wanted to clear it up for anyone else reading all this.

i'm at work, so all the pics are blocked, but from what i rememberthe studs stuck out past the nuts a few mm... if its close you might be able to squeeze by if you use a grinder and make the studs flush with your lugnut faces. shouldnt be a safety issue because those threads arent being used anyway. a little work with a dremel on the inside of the wheel might help you clear 15mm spacers as well, just dont go too crazy.

CORRECT, well translated!

We are very lucky because s2000 AP2 wheels all have the recessed cutouts so we can use 15mm or 20mm hubcentric spacers. The oem studs that protrude past the spacer will fit inside the oem wheel cutouts.

I'm not so lucky since I'm running 2002+ NSX oem wheels which stupidly enough do NOT have these simple cutouts so my only choice to run 15mm+ spacers is to get the extended studs installed

some conflicting information i saw in regards to ap2 v3s with 15mm spacers...

please clarify - will they work? or the wheels cannot take the protrusion?

and which spacers should i buy?

will be running either 245 or 255 in the rears (haven't decided), fenders have been rolled... and dropped just about 1 inch on PSS9s..

thanks.

Just a quick question not sure if it was already mentioned

But im awaiting my 15mm/20mm spacers for my AP2V2 wheels. I assume its still safe to run the stock OEM lugnuts.

I was just reading something about running open ended oem lug nuts?
Just wanted to make sure.
