Does installing an aftermarket steering wheel require an alignment afterward?

I ask because a shop installed my 350mm Personal wheel and no less than 3 employees said I needed an alignment. A friend who completed a similar install by himself said it is not necessary. I noticed that the wheel needs to be turned slightly to the left for the car to drive straight.

Edit: What is the torque spec of the center bolt?

I'm interested to know this too. After installing a CR steering wheel in my MY03 it has a slight tilt to the left (although the car drives just fine).

torque is 39 ft/lb

it is key that when you put on the wheel, the wheels are straight ahead. Drive into the garage straight, tape a line on the dash that lines up with the steering wheel. Find the center of the aftermarket steering wheel and mark it with tape. instal wheel.
