Post your aftermarket steering wheels here!

MBH besides having no airbag, the only complaint I've heard is the taller guys not being able to see the rev limiter/ gauge cluster. the pros would be more elbow room and better response imo. good luck

my only thing with having the aftermarket wheel is that the hub + quick release pushes the wheel out a bit so that your fingers can barely reach the turn signals, other then that i love it.

I'm 6'4" I have a key's racing D-shape steering wheel with a quick release and standard length hub. It's not much smaller than stock if at all but I think the reasons for getting a wheel are more or less the same regardless. Sorry no pic atm, but it's not hard to find one with google.
Pros:
- Quick release makes it easier to get in and out of the car. <= best thing about the setup tbh.
- Having the steering wheel further away from the dash actually gives me more knee room.
- I don't have to move my seat up to be at a proper distance from the wheel, allowing for more leg room. Steering with shoulders = bad.
- D-Shape also gives me more knee room.
- I can turn the wheel without worrying about knee-hand clearance. <= close second.
Cons:
- With my big hands I can barely reach the turn signal without taking my hand off the wheel. It takes some getting used to.
- Size and position of wheel blocks my view of the tach. This really sucks but it might not be a problem if I had low seat rails or aftermarket seats. I mostly shift based on engine sound.
- No cruise control. Not much of a con, if I know I'm gonna want cruise (like for driving through kansas lol) I can just put the stock wheel back on.
- No airbag, but honestly I don't expect to do too well in a crash either way.
Other than the airbag, cruise control and tach visibility issues I can't think of anything that's caused specifically by the wheel. The tach issue is only for taller drivers. As for the other issues, you can always get a short hub and no quick release if wheel position is a problem. Also there are some fairly short quick releases as well.
