ive asked evasive and they asked me to get the measurements however i didn't get a chance to do so. but they are great in all aspects so i doubt they would have just let this situation go. haha

wen i (you) really think about it though, the diffuser is pretty much as flush to the bumper as possible, and even if we change the bracket size, the diffuser wouldn't flex anymore. nonetheless its still great for evasive to do a followup
I think the mounting of the sides of the diffuser are fine. Perhaps the mounting hardware (center brackets under the license plate) were intended for the AP1 rear bumpers. AP2 rear bumpers mount at a much lower location. Here is my car with an AP1 bumper and you can kind of see two hangers which are much lower (mounting locations for stock ap2 bumper):
If you can flex the voltex diffuser up maybe an inch and a bit with shorter brackets it will have the same gap as the evasive car. Perhaps you received AP1 center brackets instead of AP2. Just a hunch
looks to be how its supposed to be but that thing is so low...i wonder how low it would be with my shine rear bumper since the shine bumper sits a lot higher then the oem

Lol evasive suplies bothmounting brackets for ap1 and ap2. The ap1 brackets were longer than the ap2 brackets that i used haha.
Op. Did u have to "flex" the middle of the diffuser to be able to use the shorter bracket? Using the ap2 brackets like originally done the diffuser seems like it would crack if i tried to push it up or what not. Or i should say is there a lot of tension wen u use the ap1 middle brackets??
you might have to trim the diffuser if it's already hitting the exhaust.....or your piping's really not compatible with this diffuser.....just my .02 cause it does look like it's hanging lower than the evasive car.
its not hitting the diffuser, i have about 1/4 clearance. its a custom gtmotoring exhaust in 3in, it has the extra hanger so there is no movement in the exhaust, so as far as clearance its ok.
i actually dont think my diffuser sits any lower from the bumper of evasives car at all, mine might even be higher since i used different center mounts. but as far as from the ground itself mine is lower because my suspension sits lower.
