I have recieved several inquiries about doing this to others' headlights. If you would like to me modify just the diffuser for you or if you want to just ship the whole headlight and have it done and resealed, just let me know!

duude. i feel bad cus i might just have to steal your idea. so before then, thanks a whole bunch for the great idea.

mulder, btw, when you were photoshopping around for your headlights, did you happen to save the ones where you blacked the whole diffusor and left the very top and far corner away from the lowbeams amber? jw

 

I did. It doesn't look good and I'll explain why. There is too much space if you have more than two bars blacked out. It looks wierd. Someone asked this earlier. Another thing is that the bulbs sit directly behind the one that isn't, insuring that all safety equipment is arguable visable and hence.... save you from a ticket or worse. And, over time, you don't want to run the risk of heat damage to the painted surface on the back side.

Remember, these are just the prototypes. God only knows what will happen to them. They could melt, burn, or explode before its all over with. Hopefully I have thought it through enough that no issue will arise.

I will see if I can find those great MS paint chops I did!
