i had 225/35 on 18x9.5 with +20 all around with a roll and a pull...i only rubbed on masssive dips at high speed...i recently went with 18x10.5 +30 with the same 225/35 and it didnt rub at all. I also ended up maxing out my rear -camber giving it a more of that squashed look in the back...came out sick.

just my 2cents.

yeah man i saw yours, looks nice...i think if i had 35's id be good, im on 225/40 so i think the extra sidewall is whats causing the rubbing...the picture above is after highway driving with a passenger it barely rubs if im by myself unless im hitting big bumps but with the 130lb passenger it smelled like my car was on fire lol. from the pics i posted do you think i have any more camber left to squeeze out? i havnt tried adjusting it yet just running whatever the previous owner had and i wasnt sure by looking at the camber bolt if it was maxed out yet. maybe ill try tommorow...to max it out do all i have to do it loosen the rear self locking nut and then turn the camber bolt counter clockwise till it stops? this is my first S i recently got so im still learning and working on it as i go.

will have a 255/35 on a 10in rear with this car here shortly. It's a federal tire too and those run wide quite a bit so its actually closer to 265/35.

believe me you can get more camber on those wheels, my friend on the 521's with -10* of camber

he had to have been running adjustable ball joints/camber kit no? i loved his fitment with those wheels i saw that car in person a bunch of times but im running stock camber adjustment so ill max it tommorow and see what happens..most ive ever personally heard with stock camber bolts is in the -6's

NY: pull the fenders some more maybe? 215s on a 9.5 rim and over is a gaudy stretch...especially if you were to go with a 35 series tire. Not to mention the 35 series tire will create distance between tire/fenderwell so then you'll have to go even lower to eliminate wheel gap, then you reallllly have no clearance/suspension travel...

but that's just me, I'd massage the fenders more before I downsized on tires/ran more camber...it's one thing to not be functionall, it's another to have your car just outright dangerous/useless like the S pictured aboved with -10 camber

on that note, if you need to run -10 camber to squeeze not actually fit 225s on your set-up...then you're doing it wrong.
