Just gonna poke my nose in and say Varrstoen wheels arnt used for track etc by most individuals because they're heavy compared to volks/enkies etc. Rotas can be light but they're notorious for being structurally compromised easily. Yes they've upped their strength in the past few years but still id be scared of you slid into the grass off the track. If your just drifting around stanced then you'll be fine unless you slam a crater or curb. So to the guy above. Poo on you.

What? Define import. Last time I checked Audi, BMW, and Lotus weren't American.
If you know what wheels do, I'm not sure that's a statement you'd make readily. They perform just as well on any car.
I've had 3000 dollar sets of wheels on my race bikes, and you only get 2 wheels. I thought I was getting a 2fer when I got 4 for the same price.
Less expensive wheels are acceptable, if you want less performance. Buy what you like.

Well I mean Japanese cars and how do less expensive wheels equal less performance????? Bro have you looked at Varrstoen UK and the drift videos? Ive seen xxr, rota, varrstoen and other wheels used on track and daily. Zero performance loss compared to Volk,Enkie...the list goes on. Personally Ive owned Spoon wheels , 2 sets of 17x9 rpf1's to XXR and now Varrstoen. Its look that DD cars want and if it can handle aggressive driving aswell with the same look why not. Yes buy what you like but to say less performance isnt correct. far as the bikes go thats a whole diff world.

In correct data from someone once again. Ive slid into curbs on rfp1's at about 45mph and the damn things warped like no other. whats the difference in stress on a wheel between a drift event and a road race event? Id take a look at Varrstoen uk's video on youtube with their drift day and you tell me they aren't structurally sound because your clearly a wheel expert. Poo on me? I think not its Poo on your false statement jr.

Drifting doesn't equal performance.
Stopping, Starting, Switching direction (corner entry) and unsprung weight equal performance. And yes wheels that cost less (for the most part) don't give reliable, and consistent performance from top to bottom.
