285s? Noommm nomm nom , I my goal is to get 285s or 295s after a few months since I just got my V1s refinished wrapped with brand new Hankooks, 235/255.

Now Running 285 or 295 on a NA, wouldn't that be a bit overkill ? And too heavy too? I don't care about the body work needed since i will be widening the rear, front is already widened.

the wheels and tires, at least in my case are amazingly light. And overkill? I don't see how its overkill. Is it needed? no. is it f@#king bad ass to have a huge tire under your ass? yes. lol plus mine will not stay NA for that much longer, hopefully will see boost in a year or so. other than that i don't think you can ever have too much grip. the true race guys will probably argue with me about resistance, drag, and such but i personally just love the look of the huge tire in the rear and I'm so tired of people saying " oh that hellaflush guy has to run tiny tires to fit that. I really just don't see the point in buying a super low offset skinny wheel. I think a -22 8.5 or 9 +10 is a waste and i think it looks funny from the rear with the super skinny wheel cocked sideways lol. too each their own but i'll let you know how i like it in two weeks or so

Whats the point of a wide wheel if you can't fit a wide tire as well? so the wider you go, even if you need a stretch, the wider of a tire you can run. So in my opinion, if you want that stretched tire, hellaflush look, you don't have to sacrifice tire width, just add wheel width in the backspacing so that it will give you that extra inch or so to get that little bit a stretch you may need. I love a ton of these setups in here and I've just always wanted a set of classics. Who knows, i may sell them in 6 months because i hate them. But as of right now, i love the fitment and the wheel is beautiful!

Quoted for maybe the most intelligent sentence to ever grace this forum...

i've ran 225s, 235s,245s, 255s and 285s in the rear and the difference incredible. the ride is much much more planted/stable feeling with 245s front 285s rear

225s..
