how do you guys feel about 17 x 8.5 +40 and 17 x 9 + 45 ???? any advice

just go 17x9 45 all around its only a half inch difference and the offset is a tad better. just stagger ur tires if you dont want to heavily mod ur front fenders

Definitely stick with just the 17x9 +45. If you aren't familiar with making aggressive wheels fit then don't even think about picking up the 17x9.5 +38s. They are significantly more difficult to make fit with a proper sized tire than the 17x9 +45. I've had both and it was very easy to make the 9 +45s fit with no rubbing. 9.5 +38s took a lot more work than I wanted to do.

215 on a 17x9 is toooooo stretched. go with 235/45 or 235/40 and 255/40 in the rears.
