Would 9 +35 be too aggressive on back? isn't less aggressive than 9.5 +38? yet more aggressive than 9 +45

I wonder why nobody has these setup?
9 +45 front and 9 +35 would be perfect (in my opinion)

The concaveness does not change after +45...so there is no point.

Honestly, the point isn't so much the face, as the stagger still looks good unless you flare your front fenders. I can tell when there is an unstaggered setup thats a little too aggressive in front, to me it looks strange.

I rather like unstaggered width / 10mm overall wheel stagger with the same tire size all around. It's a look I can actually see, and very much like feeling like there is a little more "oomph" in the rear.

Ok im a tad confused here, from what i understand, i think i agree with you, that non stagger 9's +45 look a bit off, kinda seems like the fronts stick out more than the back... hence i was suggesting the idea of +35 on back 45+ front, wouldn't that give it the "look" of a stagger set up? without having to go too wide? specially knowing in my case, that im never going to run anything bigger than a 255 on the back (at least me) specially since i never track my car...
but i guess this would be a not so great idea since not a single person has done it

and now that you mention that, how is the face on a 17X8 +35? <wouldn't that be same face as 17X9 +45?

Basically what I'm saying is, with the same width, but slightly staggered offset, you'll get the "look" you're speaking of, while keeping the concave face all around, and without going through the ridiculous trouble of 9.5 +38 (with 255, NOT 245) in the rear.

I think it's a great idea, and personally sometimes wish that I would have done it instead of the 9.5 +38 in the rear. If it were me, I'd do:

F: 17x9 +45 - 245/40/17
R: 17x9 +35 - 255/40/17

Gives the look of a track inspired unstaggered setup, without the weird wider in front look. If by chance you were going to do fully flared fenders, 9+35 square would look really good too.

Unfortunately no, it's not. All 8's and 8.5's are convex. You HAVE to go 9 +45 to go concave.
