Hey all, I need new tires so getting some wheels too. I wanted 18s, but want something lightweight and am thinking of offering some RPF1's. I'm planning on staying stock ride height because the roads suck here. Looks like the best option is 17x8+45 17x9+45 225/245.
Would I rub at all on stock suspension? Would I have to roll? I'd rather not if I don't have to.
I've seen this asked before and people said it was fine, just wanted to double check and ask about rolling. I'm planning on going gold, I think it'll look good on my GPW with tan interior.
Thanks all!

I'm on stock suspension with 17x7.5 +48 Front and 17x9 +45 Rear with 215/45 F and 245/40 R and have no issues. I think you should be fine with what you are looking for as I expect to go up to those tire sizes next go round. I do have the UK alignment spec to get a bit more camber in the rear, but even before that I had no issues on the stock alignment.

Anyone have problems with the valve stems leaking? First, the valve cores came loose. I tightened them with the proper tool and that helped.
Later, they leaked around the outer part of the valve stem. I found this out when cleaning them....there were soap bubbles in that area.
Costco replaced the stock blue RPF1 valve stems with standard valve stems, which I was fine with. They did it for free. No issues so far.

with stock suspension and height, you shouldnt even need a fender roll, because essentially you will be monster trucking it. The tires will not even come close to the fender. May I ask why you're going to stay stock height?
