If people have seen these combo's in the flesh, which looks nicer in your opinion??
I don't think its even a comparison.

Silver is cheaper and not-flashy.

The SBC is much more attention whore. My 0.02

I have silver on NFR and a friend has SBC on silver. The SBCs look great! its honestly what look you are going after. I prefered the silver when I bought mine. SBC is definitely less common so if you like that status too. Cant go wrong with either.

Cheers for your reply,

EI S2000 - if you had the choice again would you go SBC? did you try your mates on your car?

I would prefer them to be as dark chrome as poss. are they dark in the flesh or would it be worth getting silver then get them painted/powder coated?

Nitto doesn't have a 245/40 and I can't run 255/40 since it will give me one more point in my Time Trial class. The other option was 235/40, but that would leave me with one point and you really can't do much with one point and it would be only a 235 tire...
Got yeah, makes sense. Damn racing rules. Don't you sometimes just wish you could build unlimited, to your hearts desire, and just run circles around people on lapping days? That seems more fun to me

Or you you could just run a 255/40 R comp in another brand

Plan is to go with R888 next time with 245/40. I just really wanted the NTO1. I've having more issues than I thought with the fenders.

I wouldn't.. but I never really liked chrome wheels. They look great in person. I'd say if you like them in pictures then youll love them in person. The chrome I believe is only on the front face and then the inside of the spokes and wheel are black which is why it has such a dark chrome color I believe. (Dont quote me on that though). I havnt tried them on my car but I'm going to help him out this weekend maybe I'll snag a side and take a pic.
