I'm pretty darn close. I can get as spirited as I'm comfortable with on the street no problem. I would not auto-x or go to an actual track at my height. I do think that raising the car with my current wheel/tire specs would make it possible to do just about anything I wanted though. I do have an AP1 rear bumper currently because I bought a J's racing replica rear diffuser. I'm having fun with how it is now, but I think I'll go back to the AP2 rear eventually.

Yeah agreed. I think I've said it to you before, but my main issue now is that I'm simply too low currently for full-on track driving. Spirited mountain driving is not an issue however. I'm probably going to end up raising the car about a half-inch soon to remedy that.

You know we've had the conversation many times Steve lol, and I agree with you. I actually have more room up front than out back right now, and that's really the only reason I'd go back to 9 +45. My alignment specs in the rear are not ideal currently, but since I've recently been able to dd a different vehicle I haven't really been too concerned about it.

Thought please?
You can't machine a wheel like that, as the taper in the bolt holes would be compromised. Also, you need to understand that for a given tire size the offset is what determines the difficulty of fitment. A 9" 45 with a 255 fits the same as a 10" 45 with a 255. The 9.5" 38 and the 10" 38 also fit the tire in exactly the same place. If you were able to machine a wheel in such a way, and you like the fitment of the 9" 45, you're ideal offset for the 10" would also be 45, not 58.

My friend has the downforce fenders, and rolled rears, we did a test fit of 9" 45 in the rear, and 9.5" 38 in the front, and it looked perfect.

What's more baffling is why Enkei won't make a 10 +44. If they took the same manufacturing process of their 9.5 +38 and added a half inch of backspacing, it would be 10 +44.

Do you think that 255 all around would have rubbing issues in the front with that exact wheel/tire setup?

I have 1" drop and will have front camber set to max, which I think is -2.5.

Thanks,
Andre
