Im running 255 in the back on 17x9 +45. Im also running 255 on the front as well. I would say you are definitely going to rub that tab in the back. Its a real easy relocation and is worth it. pic of my height below.

What's your alignment up front? Just a roll correct?
Hey man. I had them set it to -2 camber up front. I rolled the fenders myself and i had a hard time rolling them with 0 pull. So I would assume there is possibly a little pull to them but I tried my best not to at all. So I would say yes just a roll.

Guys can't find that much info on the 17x10+38 fitment for the rear?

Is a flush roll, tab relocation and 2.5 degree of camber sufficient enough for the fitment with say 1 finger gap?

If not I was thinking of get the 17x10+38 and getting the wheel machined down to a +58 or so??

Thought please?

If you machine it that much you'd basically go all the way through the center of the wheel.

You would need everything you mentioned + a very slight pull and ~3.5 camber, assuming you're talking about running a 255 tire.

ok so machining is out of the question.

Chris you're making me want to scale back to 9 +45 all around and put my AP2 rear back on.

The 9 +45 basically looks the same and is much easier to fit With a reasonable alignment. That's why on the last two s2k's the 9.5 +38 wasn't even a consideration. You can also actually get out and really drive the car

I don't see the point in doing that Evan, you have all that fender work....you can probably drive the car as hard as you want!!! Do you have an AP1 rear bumper?

I feel that way too...especially since I've been into auto-x with this S. Trying to stay functional with this one...

That actually all depends on the work you are willing to put in. I have no issues on track, mountain side and/or spirted driving w/ 17x9.5+38 x4 on 255.
