Wow, quick replies, thank you! The only problem is I got one person saying yes, and another saying no lol.

Would running 225/255 make a large difference in potential fender mods? I figured it would which was why I was looking at getting the 215/245 combo instead.

Yes, Im running 17x8 +45 17X9 +45 215/245..Lowered on KWV3's at there recommended height. No fender mods/no relocation of a tab. Never had an issue, it rubs on my driveway and occasionally with a heavy passenger but no problems in 3 years.

225/255 plan on touching the fenders to be safe.

I have 245 RS3s lowered on Eibach and I absolutely had to relocate the rear tab. I'm running a square setup so the fronts are not comparable.

Question. On Stock Height and stock fenders.

Setup 1
Front: 17x8 +45
Rear: 17x9 +45

1. Will 225/40 fit on front without fender roll?
2. Will 245/40 fit on rear without fender roll?

Setup 2
17x9 +45 all around

1. Will 245/40 fit all around without fender roll?
2. Will I need to relocate rear bumper tab with this setup?

Thanks I appreciate it.

Setup 1

1. Maybe, depends on tire brand/model.
2. Maybe, but would probably still rub on dips/bumps/long sweepers. Also, why would you run 225/45 F and 245/40 R? The tire would be taller in the front than the rear, which looks super weird imo.

Setup 2

1. No, because of the front.
2. No, not at stock height.
