About the best you're going to get is 17x8/9 +45. It's still probably going to stick out a little bit though.

This is what my car looked like with that setup, although I'm lowered a tad:

plasti-dipped gold, after the non gloss clear coat makes it look dull and almost frosted over. Its an interesting look

so hard to beat this wheel, i dont care how "played out" they are, its one of the best looking wheels for the s2000 IMO......are those 17x9 +45 all around?

what are you lowered on?

That was when I had 17x8 F and 17x9 R, with 225/45 F & 255/40 R. I now have 9.5 +38 all around with 255's.

I was, and still am on KWv3.

hmm im on eibachs, i was thinking 17x9x45 with 255's all around, any reason you went with 38 over 45?

If you don't mind doing the extra fender work in the front, do the non-staggered setup.

I went with my current setup just because I wanted it a little more aggressive. I like function AND form, so I went for it.

im going with a square setup regardless, my rears are rolled and my fronts are rolled and slightly pulled, i always thought 45 was the ideal offset for square setup with these...

i guess my question is why is 38 better than 45 when going square?

Do it then man

I wouldn't say 9.5 +38 is "better" per se. Technically the wider track and slight tire stretch might make the car handle a tad better, but it's worlds more fender work. 9 +45 would be considered ideal from that perspective.

And I'll whore this photo again just because:

Quick question without searching through this entire thread....

My S2000 is an AP1 lowered on Eibach's prokit on stock shocks. Looking at getting a set of RPF1's in 17x8 45mm front, 17x9 45mm rear with 215/245 tires. My question is will I need any fender tweaking to get these to fit without rubbing? I'm running -1.5 camber in the front with -2.2 in the rear. Thanks guys!
