just do a 17x9 +45 front and 17x9 +35 rear

youll have to spend money on extended lug studs, new wheels bearings and labor if you want to run a 17x9 +45 just to space it when you could achieve the same effect with the right wheel size in the first place

Any thoughts on 225-45-17 on a 17x9 on skunk springs? Tires I had laying around. Use them or wait for 245s?

17", 215/45 8J ET45 front, 245/40 ET45 Rear.
1" drop with H&R springs, rear tab relocated, slight roll on rear fenders.
I HAD to relocate the rear tab, it was touching on bumps.

It's really simple.

1. Take the screw out of the plastic that holds the bumper to the quarter panel.
2. Drill a new hole further towards the rear of the car, and re-install the bolt.
3. Trim the plastic on the edge of the bumper cover with a knife/dremel, and hammer the old tab upwards.
4. Profit!

Here are my 17x9 +45, with 245/40 front and 255/40 rear RS3's.
