Quick question guys, I totaled my rio about 4 weeks ago and Im about to pick up a GPW with rolled rear fenders. What modifications do I need to do to the front to run 17x9 wheels? and is there anything else i need to do to the rear for 17x9's? and what tire size would allow me to not have to worry about front fender damage? Im currently lowered on eibach prokit and have 17x9 in the rear and 17x7.5 in the front and with one getting damaged in the accident, I figured I'd just do 17x9 all around. Any help, appreciative guys

From what I read around in this thread if your fenders are rolled I believe you can run 17x9 +45 square with 225/40 and or 235/40 in the front and a 245/40 and or 255/40 in the rear. Don't quote me though, lol.

Offset? Generally with an offset +45 you need roll/pull on the front with 245/255 tires. Go any lower on offset you need to do alot more. As for the rear, since it's rolled, that should be fine with a 245. 255 might need bumper tab relocation.

If you run a narrower tire in the front you don't really have to do anything to the front fenders if they are already rolled/trimmed. I know NFR_AP2 when he was on his first set of 17x9 +45's he just trimmed his front fender and ran a 215/45 if I remember correctly. In rear if they're rolled then you're good to go, all you need to do is relocate the bumper tab which isn't that hard to do.

Thanks mang. Im running 245/40/17's in the rear as of now, I think the guy Im getting the car from said the rear's tab is relocated. I'll just fit the 17/9+45's on the front and see how they fit.

If your fronts are rolled flat and you run -2/-2.5 in camber you can easily run a 245/40 up front. No reason to run a skinny tire up there really.

anyone run 17x8's all around? I don't care if its flush or not, I'd rather be sunken. My car will be a daily driver/autoX'er and I don't want to run tons of camber
