factory.

if i do go alittle wider. looking at maybe .5 over stock front and rear.

im looking to upgrade but dont wanna do any rolling. i am dropped on springs with barely a finger gap
thats not gonna work with your ride height now. u need to roll and camber. thats the only way a +45 will fit no matter how wide it is.

Agreed... roll and camber required.

^dude is you run 17x7 +48 and 17x8 +45 rpfs you will not need a roll at that height even with stock ap2 sizes
they wont be concave but you dont have to roll
the statement of +45 needing a roll regardless of width is false

Hey guys, I would just like to confirm if I run 17 x 8 +45 front and 17 x 9 + 45 rear with 235/40/17 or 225/45/17 front and 255/40/17 rear with no drop it would not rub right?

I just got that same setup, 225/45 and 255/40 on stock height and I have had one issue. I hit a dip a little too hard and the rear rubbed a tad, but that was once. It has been a week since and still nothing. Still needs a drop I feel though, just waiting on more money to buy myself some Koni Yellows.

The reason you don't like them is probably because of your fronts that are convex. If you were to get 17x9 +45 all around or put your 9's on the front and get 9 1/2's in the back then you would be much more pleased with them. The lip and concaveness sets off very nicely neither of those start until the 17x9 +45 wheel.
cheers for the headsup, thats exactly what I plan on doing in the future, then i can switch it up.

they are growing on me, and next will be some coilovers to drop it a bit more, then archwork followed by paint.
