[QUOTE=clitsy,Feb 19 2011, 03:49 AM]Stance has no bearing on what you were talking about. You were saying that an HPDE and a Time Attack are the same when they are not even in the same category. If you are still tracking with instructors you are quite a ways away from any kind of racing event.

I actually wanted to confirm that it wasn't a typo. I don't really care what people run on their car because it's their car and there's no point in arguing over the 'net. I do give props to whoever does track their car because that is what the car was built for.

I was all about looks before but I grew out of it and now I'm more focused on a track setup.

Really liking this setup

How do the DF fenders fit?
mine fit great! i bought them from RoflitzJinno, or however you spell his name. he had them painted and installed on his car, so I don't know if they needed any modifications.

personally, they make the wheels look 10x better, hopefully they dont hit when i pull in my driveway

hey i was planning on getting gold rpf1 17's 8 front 9 rear +45 with 215/45 and 245/40. I am planning on putting coilovers with 1 inch (1.5 inch max) drop.

can anyone tell me:

If these are the correct tire sizes

If these will clear

And if not what is needed. explain cambers if they are needed as i am new to the whole tire wheel situation and just got the s2000 this year.

THANK YOU

You guys are right, my car could never be in an autox or road course, it's way too low.

AP2 Homestead Speedway Time Trial

I think I'll go post in the SSC thread or some sort of "stanced" thread.
And no harm no foul, I still love all my fellow S2ki members
Ok, this is the last time I will post in this thread about you and "tracking" your car,

But if you're tracking on that crazy RPF1 set up thats in your post that started all of this, why didn't you run them in the autocross pics? They are new you say? Oh, that makes sense. I would totally take out my rollbar and my race seat and put my OEM tan interior seats back in both sides of the car if I was serious about tracking it.

And if you were trying to say that the car in the photo is low because it doesnt show a fender gap on the autox course, then you obviously don't know that your suspension compresses when you drive the car in a turn. Your car wouldn't compress that much, because your tires would hit your fenders before it even started to get nearly the compressed.

With that, I will put to rest this debate good sir. Luckily if you're running with an instructor in the car, I know that I won't be in your run group and will thus be safe from harm with you out there at the same time with me.
