volks have really gone up in price, i remember the days where you can get a set of 18's for under 2 grand, i got my 19" LE37's for my audi for 2400 and i thought that was a lot.

Same here.
It seems like you pay the same price now for just wheels as you would've paid for a set with tires back then haha. Like everything else, it goes up in price I guess.

17x10 +45 or 17x9.5 +35 non staggered for track work?

I've got flared OEM front guards and the usual lip and bumper tab relocated... Running 17x9 +45 atm with any issues f20kills seems to vote for the 17x10s...

^The 17x10 +45 will be significantly easier to make fit and will be better on the track anyways.

the difference between 10 +45 and 9.5 +35 is 3mm, the real difference is in tire choice, i wanted to keep my 255 contact patch so it seemed that 10 was the right choice, because it should stretch similarly to a 245 on a 9.5 hope the hub depth is the only difference between the sizes, as far as face is concerned. NFR what did you end up ordering?

oh man guys, i just had an epiphany, i dont know if its too late to change up the order, but i realized maybe 17x10 +50 in the front and 17x10 +45 in the rear might be an awesome choice. that way i think its the same lip all around with same width but a staggered look, flat face front and concave rear. plus it wil be easier to fit in the front. now im second guessing it, what do you think?

Biggest problem going staggered offsets on the same width wheel with the same tire is now you can't rotate them. I'd much rather be able to rotate and then replace 4 tires at a time not just 2 over and over again.

yeah plus the option of having room for a bbk down the road unless the spoon calipers do work wth a 10+45. i forgot about the rotation benefits, thats a good point.
