its a tad bit bigger. not that much. if you put a 17x9.5 +35 next to a 17x9 +22, they have the same face with the same hub size. the 17x10 +45 has the same concaveness, but different hub and lip sizes. Notice how the lugs stick out more on a 10 vs a 9 +22 or a 9.5 +35.

Also what's weird about 17 inch CE28's is that if you go 17x10 +50, the wheel will have the same concaveness as a 17x8 wheel. Offset plays a big difference on CE28's.
