Concave Party is a must. I've wanted to shoot more Hondas myself, I haven't shot many: http://www.flickr.com/photos/killerb...7617136583212/

Maybe meet in Poughkeepsie or a little further south? I'm the oddball that's too far north lol.

I really want a set of CE28s in Formula Silver in the following sizes:

17x9.5 + 47 on 255/40 star specs
17x 10 + 45 on 265/40 star specs

Do any of you volk fellows have a picture with 18.9.5et35? Looking at how concave the wheel is. Or is it the same as the 17 inch? Oh ya wheel is ce28n!!

I could possibly be wrong, but I'm pretty sure 18x9.5 +35 isn't concave.

Looks like for 9.5j:

+34 is flat face but actually has a little lip
+28 is basically just flat
+22 is concave
+15 is concave

Basically...almost not worth it in 18 at all for s2k.

So I just picked up a set of CE28's last night and they are gunmetal with a machined lip so I want to have them redone in a flat/matte black. Any suggestions on powdercoating vs. painting? I've had wheels painted before, I did my old Regamasters on my civic a nice SEM trim black and it came out very flat which is exactly what I wanted. I've heard people suggest not powdercoating these wheels but tons of people do it. Also does anything thing I may have an issue with the paint or powder sticking to the machined lip? Thanks a lot

I don't see why you couldn't powder coat them. Powder coat is usually a tougher, more resistant finish to chipping than paint. Who ever powder coats them will have to prep the wheel as it would be done with paint so the machined lip wouldn't be a problem that I could see.

I have read but have not seen actual proof, but supposedly powdercoating weakens the rim due to the temperatures they expose the wheel too. Now whether that is true is beyond me.
