does the 3rd brake light have to be removed first for the installation? or does the spoiler go right on top of it

Yep, the third brake light has to be removed and it sits inside the spoiler and bolts right back onto the trunk.

That Tamon looks nice and subtle / clean; the JDP really needs a widebody or an aggressive rear bumper, otherwise it looks like the 4 door EG Civic I just saw with the Combat wing on the trunk...

The tamon looks good but to spend $700+ on a spoiler + paint that serves no performance purpose doesn't make sense to me.

I also wanted to break out of the old man roadster look to a more aggressive styling so this and a gears/oem lip would look really good

I spoke with JDP Engineering and brought up the quality issues that were posted in this thread. He could not believe what he saw and has committed to improving his processes. According to him, every single one of these wings are made to order. This allows for quick adjustment on the processes to make this component.

I had no hesitation on ordering mine after speaking with them and my spoiler arrived in fantastic shape. I promised him I would post some pictures but have been slacking. I'll update this thread with more pictures when I take the wing out of storage.
