Great thread, Luvin the Seats..

But I also Like my 08' Seats, only reason i'd change them is for weight reduction..

So, Ap2 guyz... Is there a noticable diffrence in weight, when your picking up the seat/changing seats ??

I didn't lose as much weight as I did going from the stock Recaros in my old 5R Teggy (those things were PIGS at like 45lbs each), but I think with the rails I have, I still lost about 10~15lbs (guesstimate). So once I get the other one in anywhere from 20~30lbs??? Was like 50lbs total in the Teggy. The stock seats are not really that heavy, speaking for 07+ model, maybe 06 and below are the same as well.

can you get a side shot of the car? i want to see if your seats sit lower than my PP on brides. i wish the seat sat a little lower.

did you use the recaro side mounts or just the BC rails? did you have to mod the BC rails to fit? are you using the oem seat belt? if so did you have the problem where the latch is smashed between the center console? i have to slide my key in between the seat and center console to release the seat belt.

Thanks
I just installed my Recaro Pole Position with BC rails. I have the same buckle issue...I'll see what I can do about it. It sits at or slightly above stock height right now. I am going to mess with it over the weekend and try to lower it, I'll let you know how it goes and take some pictures.

Have you thought of installing the sidemounts the other way? Maybe that way you can get at least the rear of the seat lower.
