What in Hell are XL SPGs? It seems you are strong bro. I'm a a 231lb and 6.06 feet Guy.
Yes the Seats are a bit close at the waist but thats no problem. I have the Recaro SPGs.

Be careful, according to the Schroth harness guide, the adjustment hardware on your takatas is not in the best position. Should be behind the seat for safety reasons. That harness bar doesn't allow the harnesses to sit back to far, i almost had the same problem, but lucky i'm short so my seat sits further forward.

^ You should undo the bottom of the seat belt and feed it through the hole closest to the door. Thats what I did for now until my harnesses fix things.
