They dont touch the glovebox door and it BARELY touches the door side. Not enough to leave a mark.

....lowest rail,
i got Taitec rails from science of speed. i can make my bride exas3 sit on the floor if i use the lowest mounting position.
Actually the rear part of the seat pretty much sits on the ground

correction the spoon seats are the most comfortable bucket seat....PERIOD! and those sit the lowest i've seen. the pole positions are nice, but the spoon seat are better. the spoons were just more comfortable.

these seats are real comfotable... although the holes for the shoulder belts are too low, way to low for me.

I just put my evo in over the weekend w/ taitec rails. word of note, put the seatbelt latch on BEFORE you figure out how much of the shoulder wings need trimmed to unblock the door/glovebox. The latch pushed the seat over a miniscule amount, but enough that it presses into the door. Didn't find out about this till i noticed the curved indent in the doorpanel from the seat. i just need to shave off another 1/8 - 1/4 inch and it'll be perfect.

I put the rear of the seat in the second to lowest slot, end result is I feel like I'm at the same height as stock. OK for me, but maybe not for others. it would go into the lowest slot, but the mounting brackets started sticking into the harness hole areas.

haven't taken good pics of it in the car yet, but heres before install and trimming.

btw, I'm 5'7, ~200lb. snug, but not uncomfortably snug.
