In addition, I guess I'll need seatbelt extenders with this set up.

Anything else I need for install? How come no need for Recaro Side Bracket Mounts?
I don't think they changed. If you buy BC rails, just get them rewelded.

I borrowed Av8ter's idea and designed my own custom side mounts to attach to modified OEM seat rails. What a PITA this was, but I've very happy with the result. Super solid with OEM adjustment and fitment. Sits about the same height as the BC, which is pretty much as low as it will go since the seat bottom is almost touching the carpet. I don't recommend doing this DIY unless you like drilling a lot of large rivets though!

This sort of thing has been preventing me from buying recaro PP seats for my 2006 ap2, which I want soo bad. However, I don't want to sit on the ground of my car with the flimsy BC rails and I don't want the damn SRS light to come on just b/c of the passenger side sensor. I just want to have PP seats in my car and be happy and safe! Is that too much to ask for?!?

How high can you sit with the planted seat rails/sliders?

Drilling the rivets out isn't fun. There are about 12 per seat. You have to drill the head off and use a punch to smash them out (press would make it a bit easier, but I don't have one). Sorry i'm not interested in making these for others, but mine might be for sale in a couple months. Might change my seat setup since one of my friends is interested in my Pole Positions for his BRZ.

Seat experts: I have a pair or Sparco Pro 2000s arriving any day now. Seems like the buddy clubs are the way to go but since I am the only one driving my car I don't really care about adjusting back and forth. Having said that will just Sparco side mounts work as a direct bolt to floor and not use any rails? Appreciate the help.

OK so I just tried bolting my Ballade Sports side mounts on my pole position and they don't fit! I've been fiddling around with it and going through pictures of the same setup and cannot figure it out. It hits the bottom of the rear in these pics BTW. I'm going to try flipping them.

The PP wont go on the lower holes with the Ballade/PCI mounts. That's how it is sadly.

With the recent change in PP being FIA legal, what other seats are out there that fit well? I know the s2ki community loves their PPs and SPGs.
