Were these purchased from a vendor or was this sourced out? Love the OEM but better visual here.

Seriously considering some Cobra Suzuka S seats for my S. I've seen a few people have them but I haven't gotten a definitive answer as to whether or not they'll rub the center console a little bit or completely block it.

I love my center console but I also love these seats. If anyone could shed some light on this that would be great.

on a side note if anyone knows what rails work with the Suzuka S and which sit the lowest?

yer the GT would easily be too big.

i think i'm going to just bite the bullet and buy them and if i loose my console so be it.

and again if you know what rails work best (lowest) with the Suzuka, any info would be good

I have the buddy clubs

I think anything that is side mount separate will be low. You might have to get the super low mounts but it all depends how the set pan is shaped. If you look in this bread a cobra Suzuka regular fits no problem

is any one running recaro spg's in their S. I cant seem to find good info on the actual fitment of the seat in the car. Does it come in contact with the door? Can you still use the glove box?

I replaced the driver's seat with a Recaro SPG. It does not block the glove box and it does contact the door. Over time, a dent will develop in the driver's side door panel. The seat fits me very well, so I don't mind. Also, I moved the seat belt receptacle over and it fits perfectly to the right of the seat.

From multiples research sources it seems like there is no consistency between seat reviews. I'm specifically talking about the Recaro Pole Position + Buddy Club rail. I'll go from one thread that insists an improvement/drop in seat height almost 2 inches, to another review that says the seat is basically at stock height. Anyone with this setup care to chime in and explain how much legroom is gained under the steering wheel and if the seat can slide further back than the OEM setup?
