Maybe he just drives his car? I go through v12 evos about every 6 months.. 12k-15k on rears... Im sure you cant get but about half that out of the softer tires..

I have about 4000 miles on them, I have to rotate them soon.

You should get anywhere between 12-14K I would say. I already have a track day on them so I am prbably getting less.
