I'm on coils, 45 aspect ratio tires are a bit much but I'm changing that soon. Going down to a 40 series, then slam.

grids. and loving em.

thats hawt! what offsets and tire sizes???
thanks man! 17x9 +25 front w/ 215/45/17 17x9.5 +20 225/45/17
[/quote]

So after reading this and seeing the picture. Why wont 18x8 +35 fit on my car without camber or rolling? Im lowered on Espliers with stock struts.

The 17" is 1" smaller then the 18" I want yes. But 9" is wider and a +25 would make it stick out more then my 8 +35.

Can anyone confirm. Im really tempted to buy them and try it

Use willtheyfit.com to work out how they will sit in comparison to your standard wheels and then go out and measure it on your car. Simples

my old slipstream that got destroyed from simple daily driving...

I always see this picture when people talk about the bad of Rota wheels. All I see is a 4x100 bolt pattern that I'm guessing was on a civic or integra. The 16x7 size makes me guess that they used a 205/ "40" tire which has no cushion for potholes. The wheel didn't crack it just bent which is what will happen easier on a one piece style wheel than a heavier 3 piece style wheel. I have work vs-xx wheels on my car but have had rotas on it and my turbo civic with no problems ever. I weighed my 15" slipstreams on my civic and being only 2 pounds heavier than true spoon wheels and saving $600+, I can use the $600 for better tires which will help performance better than a 8lbs. total weight savings. So those dents look fine to me they didn't break off.
