With those offsets they will stick out almost an inch from the stock body front and rear.

The fronts stick out 10mm more than a 17x9+45, and the rears sit 20mms farther out than that same 17x9 +45.

Not an ideal wheel size, but not as crazy hellaflush as people are making it out to me.

It sticks out no farther than a 17x9.5 +35... I'm starting to lean towards 215/40/17 up front and 245/40/17 in the rear, any opinions on that?

If you're going to go with 215, it would be 215/45/17. 245 on the 8 inch wheel will bulge a little. 235 will be vertical on 8 inch width.

Ok thanks! And why the 215/45/17 over the 215/40/17? Is it because the sidewall height of the 215/45 is almost the size of the the 235/40 sidewall? Thanks for the help!

Posted this on the status updates but figured it might be more appropriate here:

I ordered 17x9+35 x4..I have a fairly new pair of 245/40 Dunlop SS's at home..my question is would it be more beneficial to run 245's all around or run the 245's in the front and 255's in the rear..would there be any ill effects of running a slightly staggered tire set ?

....or should I sell the 245's and look to run 255's all around...I do see there is extra fitment work and issues with running a 255 in the front with 9+35.

I am assuming I would need a thicker front sway either way..thanks !!

You might as well run 245s all around so you can rotate the wheels. With those offsets, I don't think I would run 255s.

I hear you s2k007...I was thinking about 245's since they are a little cheaper..it's such a difficult choice..I'm pretty sure if I pull the quarter literally another 3mm I can fit them comfortably with no rub at 2.8-3.0 camber range. I currently have a 17x9.5+38 w/ 5mm spacer and 245/40 SS with no rub at all with a mm or two to play with

this is perfect. Got any more pics?
