Really? 4 deg seems excessive.....contact patch isn't anywhere near what the full 245 tire has to offer!

Truthfully 3.5* negative is about the limit imo for performance, but 4 wouldn't be so bad though. It does decrease contact on straight line, but when the suspension rebounds on the inside under braking, it will stand up straighter and give you pretty decent traction.

So I have Advans 17 X 9 +45 all around with 235/45 up front and 255/40 in the rear and I can't decide whether I want to stick with them or go to something less aggressive...because even though I got my fenders mildly rolled they still rub. I was thinking of switching to 18 x 7.5 +45 and 18 x 8.5 +48 or 18 x 9 +45...just whatever won't really rub. But you guys like the non-staggered huh? Any thoughts? This is mainly a DD street car right now.

Yeah, I think I am at around -1.5 or close to -2 up front and maybe -2 or -2.5 in rear so I guess I could add more.

But if I did switch, what is the more ideal width for a 225...7.5 or 8"?
