Don't do it dude...any more aggressive and it will rub. I've been playing around with my wheel/tire/suspension/alignment setup...and 17x9 +22 is pretty much the limit if you don't want to rub at all (and still run a proper tire). i lowered the rear and had -7 camber with a 245...and I was rubbing the fender/rear bumper whenever I hit freeway bumps or went up steep driveways/hills. I had to raise it up to get rid of teh rubbing. This is for teh rear anyway. It looks like you might have some room in the front though
-7 with the rear fenders cut and you still rubbed???

yessir...this was tucking the very top of the tire. Since then, I raised up the car and am now running -3 degrees. No rubbing since then.

Yikes! -7 and still rub? Mine's -5 and only rub on hard bumps in the rear. My rear is equivalent to a 9 +20.

Thats really weird. You tried this recently with your fender all cut out underneath the over fenders? Where were you rubbing, on the bumper? How do you know it was -7 camber?

I did this all last week. It's rubbing on the very outside edge of the rear bumper. I can tell because there is tire rubber stuck there after each time I rub. I know it's -7 camber because I took it to an alignment shop and asked them to measure it for me. Only way to clear right now is to have the car raised...which I did...and run moderate camber so when the coils compress, it tucks nicely in the fender without dipping too far to hit the rear bumper.

Only other option would be skinnier tires

The kicker is how low offset/flush do you want to go and how much rubbing can you tolerate. I can't tolerate ANY rubbing. however...if someone can tolerate it...the lowered stance and -7 degrees camber would have been fine...i mean i was only rubbing going up steep driveways and big dips on freeways...which really isn't much (and the stance looked SICK). But that also means i'll be rubbing on the track which I definitely don't want.

It's all a matter of pereference. This is my limit. You can definitely go more aggressive than this..but you'll have to put up with more rubbing.

What kind of tire are you running tho? THe tires in ur pic look really low profile. Tire impacts clearance much more than the rim width/offset does.

I guess you are right Nick. Mine's a 255/35/18 on a 10 width wheel. 255/40/17 on a 9 width is definitely meatier. Mine rubs on the outside of the rear bumper wear it meets the mounting point with chassis. Just slightly because I see where the wear marks are. If I mounted it on the flare like you then it would eliminate that.

Well, so then you're rubbing because you have too much camber, and theoretically you CAN go a bit more aggressive without rubbing so long as the alignment is right.

All seems like a big hassle but thats the price you have to pay for stance and exclusivity.
