Nope no major rub for me. I get worried when I go over bumps as well. I'm running potenza re050a and only rub a little when Im going fast through uneven corners.

 

I just bought a set of 18x9.5 ET40 with 265/35r18 but I am thinking about selling them for some miata parts...

They do look great though!

Currently it's 225/40/18. They were hand me downs from a buddy. Once they wear out I'm gonna put 245/40 on them.

Here's a couple of poor quality iPhone pics from earlier. I literally just got the rims and tires mounted and balanced from the powdercoat job. They are highlighter yellow with a glow in the dark clear (just for SnG's). They are 18x9.5 +38 wrapped in 265 35r18 no staggered. I'll work on getting some higher quality pics soon.

old-setup was so clean,i understand maybe you were bored but highlighter yellow? on silver? seriously?

id rather you work on powedercoating those wheels back rather than higher quality pics but that's just me

 

The old black setup was painted and when i had some tires put on the tire guys scratched the hell out of them. And since they were previously highlighter orange it looked horrible.

So long story short I finally got down to redoing them and went with a color route that's different then most.

Rediculous? ya but so is my wastegate dump tube coming out of the hood.

You would either love them or hate them.

 

haha yeah I'm clearly on the hate side...

I mean wastegate dump out of the hood+black=pretty mean/business

wastegate dump out of the hood+highlighter yellow=juvenile

but maybe I'm overreacting, I'll let others chime in/see how they feel
