Does anyone know if the 17x9.5 +44 will clear a stoptech 328 BBK?

245/40/18 is pretty darn tall, which is why you're experiencing the rubbing as much as you are. Your OD is nearly a full inch higher than oem, which will actually throw off your speedo by 2.5-ish mph @ 60 mph (your speedo will read 57).

I think 35's are next, I raised the car 1/8" and it seems a lot better. Let's see after a drive. Thanks for your suggestions and thoughts, I'm pretty new to all this.

Yeah the correct tire size would be 245/35/18. I thought the tires looked really high.

^thanks for those pics. I'm thinking about getting a set too but I think I'll go 245/35/18 fronts for better clearance and 255/35/18 rears.

I think with these wheel sizes your better off running a non-staggered set up. I have the NT03's in the 18*9.5 +40 with a 245/35 yokohoma s drive and the size is just right, plus its always nice to be able to squeeze some extra life out of the rubber by rotating the wheels more often.

Would the 17x9.5 +44 wheel be convex or concave? and what are the 18 x 9.5 +50?
