I visit my350z.com on a regular basis. I will always argue my point of view, and will welcome anyone who'd like to debate. 
I understand about the name calling and the things people say that are none other than personal attacks. I think that shows a lot of maturity on a moderator's side to do what you did. I think the moderators of this site would act in the same manner, regardless of what car someone drives.
I myself have gotten drawn into personal attacks here and have done some mud slinging myself. However, I'm careful about doing it on other sites. That doesn't mean I haven't done it, but it doesn't go unprovoked.
Out of courtesy to internetabyss, I will continue to refrain myself from getting drawn into personal pissing matches over on my350z.com. I will still always argue my case, however, in as constructful a manner as I can.
