Default Will insurance know I got a speeding ticket?

I'm thinking of changing insurance companies, and I know they'll ask whether I got a speeding ticket or not. I got one over a year ago, but since I did online traffic school I guess it was dismissed and I have no points.

Will they know that I got a ticket? Or will they not count it?

It won't count.

Thanks. But when they ask whether I've gotten any ticket in the last 3 years, what do I say?

I don't know. I don't remember getting that question. You could just say, "not that's on my record..."

Say no, since it didn't count.

Say no. I've gotten a speeding ticket before (which I went to traffic school for) and when I changed insurance companies, they ran a check on my driving record and it came up completely clean.

I was going to say that when they did a background check on you that they would see that you had a ticket but it got waved due to the driving school... but due to this story I guess I was wrong. Learn something new everyday.

cvc2nr gave you your perfect answer Saint...
