My first real job was at FEDCO doing everything from bagging, stocking, selling TVs, and selling sporting goods. I got that job in high school and just went to apply. No previous experience was necessary.
My current job is consulting in the digital video and interactive TV market. I had to pay my dues at other companies to get enough experience to go into consulting and be on my own. Also helps to get a few degrees in College (I have both a BS and MS).

First job was a weekend receptionist for a real estate company while in high school.
Four years later, I am a real estate legal assistant for a sole practitioner. Although my goal was to go to law school, I have developed an allergy to realtors and a major aversion to attorneys.
Hopefullt when I move to Miami, I can do something with computers, like web design or programming.
My dream is to be a professional drag racer.

Where's your school?
And thanks for the props! The feeling that I get at the track is indescibable. Now if only I could get my 60' time down.....I might get in the low 14's.

My first real job (formal hiring and taxes) was at a grocery store. My first jobs ever were splitting fire wood and bucking hay.
I got my current job as a Network Engineer by starting as an intern. I was hired on full time 8 months after starting and have had two promotions so far. Total of 5 years this month.
I've been working with computers since I was 8. I have taken a bit of schooling at a community college towards an associates degree, but dropped it. It was such a joke. Other than that, I'm self-taught.

Same here. No degree. But to make the big bucks, I might have to come up with some BS bogus degree like Psychology Major to put on my resume and take off the year I graduated.
Oh, and I know a real hottie that lives in RI............Can't be too boring.
