Default What is up with SPEED channel?
Seems like every time I click by it, it's ALWAYS Nascar now.....I can't get any good WRC or SCCA racing anymore. Are they selling out?

yes they are, and it's because NASCAR brings in big bucks. i'm ok with it as long as they have F1 on...

I'm glad Comcast doesn't carry Speed as a standard channel. I refuse to pay the extra 30 or 40 dollars a month to upgrade just for one channel

NASCAR does make the money. People in this country just love to see their favorite good ole boy go round and round in circles with a V8 under the hood.

SCCA is one of the most underappreciated motorsports.

I second, Elistan. Plenty of non-neckcar motorsports if you know where to look and have a way of recording the stuff aired at night.

I was watching an SCCA race about a week ago on Speed Vision where a 330i tried to hump a Mini Cooper. I was very entertained by this

And while we're on the subject of Speed Ch, what's up with those STUPID shows Unique Whips - looks like a basement video of a customizing shop w/ the boss bitching at the employees and Texas Hardtails - a fake "reality" show. I can't stand either one of those shows. I can't be the only one.
