What type of racing is it called...
I have dowloaded several racing videos (all Japanese) where they race stock production cars on a windy track. I happen to catch something similar on Speedvision once in a blue moon. I don't like NASCAR or any other type of high speed driving because they don't race cars that you can actually own. It's nice to see stock production cars go head to head with each other on a track. Do they have this kind of racing in the US? It's not Solo II Autocross (which is fun also) because there are several cars racing at a time. Anybody knows where I can find some info in my area? I know this is a stupid question. Is it called Grand Touring? Thanks for any help guys.

Sounds like you found some Best Motoring videos. The closest you could come to something like that over here would be I think the Stock Class of SCCA, like the LordVagabond said. Although I think semi-stock street cars like Skylines and Supras racing on a track would be more exciting than say, NASCAR or IRL.

the best racing series in america is the SPEED World challege Touring car and GT division series.

They race all over the place, and most of the cars aside from being stripped out are relatively close to stock. The rules are flexible to foster competition, but the RealTime Acura Integra Type R's were only a few horsies stronger than their street stock brethren and a lot less powerfult han many all motor ITR's. The racing is close, there are some good rivalries, and everyone seems to carry a class act (unlike guys like paul gentilozzi, for example).
