What shows do you recommend on the Speed Channel?

Speed was much better as Speedvision.....then FOX took it over.
Initially, when SPEED came on the air, it was ALL NASCAR. There was such an outrage on the message boards that they began to broadcast other stuff. It's a little better now.
I watch it for the rally, F1, and in the off season....JGTC

The key to SPEED is that you really have to use the schedule if you want to catch the good stuff. There is a lot of junk, but if you are dilegent you will catch the best programming on TV, bar none.

The people who complain about SPEED are not checking the schedule, but switching it on at random times expecting to get lucky. It does not work that way, you'll end up watching NASCAR or people talking about NASCAR.
Also very good is there Programs page which lists the airtimes for races months in advance:

Of special note, do not miss the Goodwood coverage in September. http://www.speedtv.com/programs/175/
Beyond the motorsports coverage, they have lots good automotive shows, many of which just got moved to primetime. :
American Muscle Car
AutoWeek
Car Crazy
Dream Car Garage
Hi-Rev Tuners
Hot Rod TV
Motor Trend TV
MotorWeek
My Classic Car
Two Guys Garage
(Hi-Rev Tuners being the least of these.)

I read in an issue of Motor Trend that there is going to be an all new car channel that has virtually none of that nascar crap and mostly automotive shows like mentioned above. I can't wait!
