Called up my cable company yesterday and got it added to my service. Which shows would you recommend and what time are they on? Pretty much all I saw yesterday was NASCAR, and I'm not really that big a fan of NASCAR. It's alright, but I'm more a fan of rally racing, le mans, import stuff, etc.

Has any one seen the show Hi-Rev Tuners? Is it worth watching? Others?

 

theres rally races. whats what i like on it, but i did only see rally and nascar races so far.

 

I like the Speed GT challenge races, WRC rally events, Formula 1, and CART. Sometimes I catch some of the motorcycle racing on Speed. Speed works best with a tivo because they generally show NASCAR crap during the times I watch TV. I set up my Tivo to record the stuff I like and then I can watch it whenever I want to.

 

check out speedtv.com and you can get the entire lineup. I have the entire FIA and SCCA rally schedule programmed into my phone with reminders set so I don't miss a race.

 

Seems like ALL they have on now is Nascar during the day and into the evening.

I have to program my vcr Sunday night for the entire week to make sure I catch anything besides Nascar on Speed.

Anything but Nascar crap that is on 24-7, I like watching powerblock on Spike(TNN). I get much more info than 95% of the crap on speed.

Hi-Rev isn't as bad as it was before. It's still cheap and chezzy, but there are some technical stuff.

The only shows I anticipate on Speed are SCCA Speed World Challenge and Formula 1.

 

I like the magazine shows--like Moter Trend tv, Car & Driver etc..
Sometimes the Hemmings Classic Car show is pretty good.
