my mom also had an aforementioned IT job with similar hours

As someone else mentioned, cop.

I used to work at a radio station, started doing the 12mid-6am shift then moved into a 7pm-12mid slot.

Also, fireman, EMT, nurse, doctors on 12hr rotations, some vets that are open 24hrs, television anchors, reporters and cameramen. Probably many others.
