i never finish a whole cup of coffee. there is always a little left over in the cup after i am threw drinking. so, typically there are like 3 or 4 cups of coffee on my desk with about a 1/4 cup left in each. at the end of the day, i usually consolidate and dump it. the other day, one of my coworkers saw me doing this and called me out on it, claiming it was a waste. i feel its disgusting to drink cold coffee, and even more gross to warm it up. what are you feelings on this subject.

 

i only drink my coffee cold, and i ask for "light ice", so it doesn't get watered down. i put it in the fridge at work and drink it later on sometimes.... but that's coffee that's suppose to be cold.

coffee that began it's life as hot coffee... maybe not so much. tell your co-worker to drink it himself, or put it in a jar and send it to starving children.

 

or maybe just tell him to mind his own effing business.

 

hm.. i finish my cup, but.. maybe you could add hot coffee to your cold coffee if there is only a little bit of it left?

let's say you have half a cup left. you could split that in half into another cup then fill the 1/4 left with 3/4 hot coffee.

or you could just throw it away.

 

I would love to give some of the people in my office a piece of my mind. but what goes through my mind is strictly prohibited in the corporate world.

i have a feeling the same guy that called me out is the same guy that is sabotaging me. i swear he sets me up to get the last half cup of coffee every time, so i have to end up making a fresh pot. not that i mind making it, but just today, i have gotten the last cup 3 times. and its not like the last cup is a full one. its usually just enough to wet my cup and make it look like i got the last one. the bastard probably giggles with glee everytime he walks by and sees me making coffee.

If i can get my hands on fresh coffee, then I'll get fresh coffee. if i can't...i'll just reheat it.


btw I drink about 6-9 cups a day.
