Im starting to get fed up with Verizon Wireless, but im not sure if anything out there is better. I know all cell phone companies suck, but is anything out there I should look at? Im tired of all the hidden charges and rediculous taxes on my bill. Whats everyone else using?

I have Cingular. Not too impressed with it, but my employer pays the bill, so I can't complain.

Hidden Charges? Ridiculous taxes? You cannot escape those. I was with at&t, then cingular, now verizon. Same deal with all. $20 bill turns to $30, etc etc. Unless you're upset with the actual service, or you want a plan not offered by verizon, I see no reason to switch.

Verizon. Most of those hidden fees are regulatory surcharges which can't be avoided (government regulated). I've gotten the best reception with Verizon in the Tri-state area (used to have Sprint, then Nextel when they were both separate companies, and they both sucked IMO).

My wife's company switched from Verizon to T mobile because of issues. we have never had a signal at home with Verizon in a semi-rural area. With T mobile she can get a signal only in the back yard. She often uses my Alltel phone in our home area because of a better signal and far fewer dropped calls. I know Alltel is not rated that well but I have been very happy with mine everywhere except Talladega, AL.
